The next meeting of the Cordage Institute Technical Committee will be held on October 1-2, 2024 at the dual-branded Element Philadelphia Downtown and W Philadelphia, located near Rittenhouse Square and City Hall. In addition, the Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, October 1^st.

A group dinner will be planned for the evening of Tuesday, October 1^st. The per person cost is expected to be $88, excluding alcoholic beverages. Details on the dinner will be sent closer to the meeting, and pre-payment will be required.

Please contact the office if you will be attending the meeting, and please indicate if you plan to joining the optional group dinner.

Hotel Accommodations

Our discounted group rate is $210 plus tax per night at the Element Philadelphia Downtown. This includes complimentary internet in guestrooms, a full breakfast each morning, and a nightly reception with complimentary wine, beer, and snacks. Hotel reservations can be made online or by calling 1-888-236-2427 and indicating that you will be attending the Cordage Institute’s meeting. The cut-off date to ensure a reservation is Friday, September 13^th.

Ground Transportation and Parking

The cost for taxi service between the Philadelphia International Airport and the hotel is approximately $32 each way. In addition, Uber and Lyft are available for local transportation.

Overnight valet parking at the hotel is $60 plus tax for guests and $73.50 plus tax for non-guests. Other parking garages are within walking distance of the hotel.
